News Feed Module For Perfex CRM

News Feed module allows administrators to manage curated news feeds, browse articles, and display a live news widget on the Perfex dashboard — without leaving the CRM. A client-area news page is also available, giving logged-in (or optionally public) clients access to the latest news from the configured default feed. Designed exclusively for Perfex CRM, it integrates seamlessly with your existing setup — no complicated configuration required.
Key features of the module include:
News Feed Reader: Browse paginated news articles from any configured feed. Articles display title, source tag, date, description snippet, and a direct external link.
Saved Feeds Management: Add, edit, and delete custom RSS feeds. Each feed has a title, category, and optional RSS URL.
Category-based Topic Feeds: If no RSS URL is provided, supported topic categories automatically generate a Google News topic feed URL. Supported categories: WORLD, NATION, BUSINESS, TECHNOLOGY, ENTERTAINMENT, SPORTS, SCIENCE, HEALTH.
Custom RSS URL Feeds: Any valid RSS URL can be saved and used as a feed source.
Category Filter: Filter saved feeds by category in the admin list.
Dashboard Widget: Displays the latest N headlines on the Perfex dashboard, fetched from the default RSS URL.
Client Area News Page: A dedicated page is set at client side for clients showing paginated news articles from the default feed.
